Thirteen of my all-time favorite CD’sMy taste in music is very eclectic, as you’ll see by the list. I like a lot of older music, and a lot of the current day stuff too so it was difficult to limit myself to only 13. These are not in order by preference.

The Tapestry album is a classic! My sister had it and I knew all the songs and she had Elton’s first one too.

We don’t know much about human music – we mostly listen to bird songs and lizard sounds. And a lot of toad noise right now….

kailani says:

LOVE Journey. I remember when they came here in concert. I went to all 3 nights! Happy TT!

damozel says:

Love Steely Dan—I wish I could remember the name of the double album I had back in the days of vinyl (it was an earlier collection than “Alive in America”). I think “Bad Sneakers,” “Dr. Wu,” and “Haitian Divorce” are among my favorite songs….

I love EARLY Elton, but stopped liking him right around 1976—I think the last album I really liked was “Yellow Brick Road”…

LA Day says:

Aerosmith & ZZ Top are some of my all time favorites.

You’ve dated yourself. Thank goodness. I was starting to feel all alone!

Now I’m going to have Yellow Brick Road stuck in my head!

LOLOL! My daughter says Bowling For Soup wrote the song 1985 about me.
“Springsteen, Madonna
Way before Nirvana
There was U2 and Blondie
And music still on MTV
Her two kids in high school
They tell her that she’s uncool
Cuz she’s still preoccupied
With 19, 19, 1985”

I’ve not listened to any Def Leppard for awhile but I’ve got a couple of DVDs around here somewhere.
