Nicole Austin – Scandalous

{July 11, 2007}   Woven Dreams by NJ Walters

Tapestry Series, Book 3

Blurb:

In Javara, women are scarce and brothers must share a woman, although only one can claim her as a wife.

Scarred and maimed from a battle fought almost a year ago, Jarmon Bakra is afraid chances are slim that he and his twin brother, Garrik, will find a bride.

While on a hunting trip, the brothers stumble upon a woman in the forest claiming to be a tapestry bride. Now that fate has dropped a beautiful, courageous woman in their path, they will both use all their sexual skills separately and together to convince her to stay.

But Genny has secrets of her own and they have only three days to uncover the truth.

Nic’s Recommendation:

Even if you have not read the first two books in the Tapestry Series, Woven Dreams is a stand alone must read! Heck, anything by NJ Walters is an autobuy for me.

Ms. Walters writes so vividly that you become part of the story. You will smell the earthy scents of the forest, taste the fish  cooked over an open fire, hear Leon bellowing loud enough to bring down the castle walls, feel the cool river water rushing over your skin, and see the beautiful tapestry Genny wove. This book is a treat for all the senses.

Jarmon and Garrik…*deep sigh* Wow! These are two amazing, giving men. Regardless of their own trials and difficulties, you will be captured by their big hearts. While everyone else in her life treats Genny horribly, the Bakra twins recognize her beautiful spirit and cherish her.

Ms. Walter’s storytelling will take you on a touching emotional thrill ride. If you only get one book this month, or even this year, make it Woven Dreams. Its a book I plan on reading over and over again.

Woven Dreams is available from Ellora’s Cave.

Thank you for the wonderful review and for recommending Woven Dreams so highly. You’ve made my day!

You’re welcome, NJ! I love the whole series. And the cover. Oh my. If he’d only drop that tapestry. *G*
