For those of you who are not familiar with her yet, it’s my pleasure to introduce my hussy sista, Sally Painter.

The paranormal has haunted Sally all her life. The native North Carolinian lives with her husband, daughter and cat, Bow, in the Blue Ridge Mountains.Growing up just outside Charlotte, NC, meant summers along the Carolina beaches and ’shagging’ — a form of beach dancing.Sally knows a lot about ghosts since she’s lived with them all her life, very much like the film “Sixth Sense”. Born in the South into an Irish/Scottish family where everyone was a storyteller meant all those North Carolina ghost stories were retold and new scary ones created!Invited to participate in a three-year paranormal research project, Sally at long last embraced her Celtic seer heritage. Soon she was conducting a paranormal workshop and before she knew it, in July 2005 was LIVE over the air waves.When she’s not writing for Ellora’s Cave, Sally can be found conducting her online monthly workshops and broadcasting a paranormal talk radio show, Sally’s Midnight Hour, featuring paranormal authors and research professionals.
