Nic’s Recommendation:

Earth in the year 2133 is not a great place unless you live on the right side of the gate. Ms. Walter’s vivid writing forms a visual picture of this future world for the reader. I found myself caught up in the daily struggle to survive and the fight against those who continue to suppress those outside of the city. Thankfully, the Alphas have escaped the lab and are there to help fight the security forces. With the hunky Alphas around things aren’t quite so bleak and putting up with a lack of conveniences does not sound like a bad thing. In fact, I’d live there if I could snag one of those Alphas for myself. *G*

This series has it all—humor, emotion and tons of hot, steamy sex that will curl your toes. You can’t go wrong with any book that has NJ Walter’s name on the cover! And what covers, wowza! I’ve got a whole lot of cover envy going on. Syneca is an artistic genius!

It’s a touching story written by an author talented in sparking emotion in a reader. It made me smile, laugh, cheer and cry.

I highly recommend you pick up Starting Over, available from Loose-Id Publishing.

There’s just something so wonderfully captivating about black and white photographs. *deep sigh*
