Thirteen Online Shopping Deal Essentials
I hate going shopping in the mall. Takes too long to find what you want and there are too many people there, but I love online shopping with the world at my fingertips. Let me find a deal and I love it even more! I have become the online deal queen, and here are thirteen of my resources. Have computer will shop.
Coupon Codes – Coupon codes rock. For most merchants who sell things online you can find discount codes for percentages off, free shipping, free items, etc. Here are a few places where you can find these codes to be entered during the checkout process. When I bought my laptop, I found a coupon code for $800 off from Dell.
3. Coupon Craze
4. Fat Wallet
Deals – There are also a lot of great sites where you can find specific deals, posted by other users in many cases. I check these sites daily.
7. Slick Deals
8. Deal News
Comparisons – I don’t buy anything without doing a price comparison. You can enter in the specific item and do a search to check different merchants or use one of the services that check prices for you. I also check Amazon first because they often have the best deals and free shipping.
10. Price Grabber
11. Shopzilla
12. Smarter
13. NexTag
Now you’re ready to shop! Have fun and save money.

Jackson knows he needs protection from a stalker, but the last thing he wants is to want his bodyguard.
After receiving several suspicious “gifts”, His Honor Jackson Benedict is assigned an agent for protection. He’d be fine with a bodyguard…if he was anyone but the man who enters his courtroom looking hotter than any man has a right to look. Thank God Jackson’s robe hides his interest.
Trey London is more than happy that Jackson has practically been handed to him on a silver platter. If his job requires he stay close to one of the country’s youngest federal judges, it’s no skin off his back. The closer the better, actually.
But someone else is getting closer, too, and when the gifts turn into attacks, Trey is forced to trade his status of new lover for that of protector. He’s not about to let anyone come between him and his judge.
Nic’s Recommendation:
This story was not at all what I’ve come to expect from erotic manlove, and I was pleasantly surprised although I shouldn’t be. The story was penned by top-selling author Annmarie McKenna, after all.
I understand the turn on of m/m interaction, but in most cases, I need a woman in the mix to give me a character to relate to. Court Appointed is one of few rare exceptions for me. Jackson and Trey are scorching hot together and neither one has major angst over who he is. Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of conflict in this short story, along with suspense, action and hot sex. Combine those different elements together and its no wonder the book shot right to the #1 seller slot.
I highly recommend those who enjoy hot manlove to check out Court Appointed from Samhain Publishing. For those interested in the genre, this is a great book for you to try! For those who know Annmarie and I are friends, that’s not why I’m recommending her book. Friend or not, I won’t recommend any book on this blog that I did not thoroughly enjoy.

When Reci Waters, Queen of Cups, an underwater nation, suddenly abdicates to live on land, no one, not even the two people closest to her, know the real reason — to save her kingdom from a deadly enemy. Now, a year later, she plans to reclaim her throne, only she’s been out of the water too long and falls victim to a royal curse.
When the curse hits and Reci divides into two people, she’s forced to face emotions she’s long suppressed — most importantly her feelings for her handsome Captain of the Royal Guard, Arthur Finn. But when her hot-blooded twin decides it’s time to explore those sexual longings, things don’t just grow steamy, they’re scorching hot.
Arthur has loved Reci for years, but royal protocol forced his longings to smolder just below the surface…until Reci divided in two. Now he’s finding her irresistible — both of her. There’s only one problem — Reci will die if he doesn’t get her back to Cups, and her twin has run off, refusing to return to her underwater home.
Nic’s Recommendation:
My Hussy sista, Sally Painter had a new book out this week. Woot! It’s been a while for Sally, darn her, keeping us readers waiting for her heartwarming tales.
Most of us have experienced the pain and confusion of feeling divided between what is required of you and what you want. Reci has fought this battle for years and when the threat of her enemy is added into the mix her options are limited. The only way fix a divide is to face the issue. No only must she fight her own nature, she must fight for her life and everything she loves.
Arthur and Reci are scorching hot together. I had to repeatedly wipe the steam from my ebook reader. Whew! This is one hot, sexy story. Add in the element of suspense and it’s a rapid page turner you won’t want to miss!
Divided Love is available from Ellora’s Cave Publishing. I highly recommend you pick up this novel! While you’re there, check out Sally Painter’s other books. All I Want and All I Need are two of my all time favorites. You can’t go wrong with any of her books. They are all fabulous!
I wanted to share this conversation from my Yahoo Group, T&As Fantasy Playground, with y’all because it’s just too cool how one small thing can bring people together.

I was just going through my FAR little black book (yes it is black and it contains every book I’ve reviewed), and I came across Tamara’s Spirit. Now in this book I write everything, title, author, publisher, etc, but what I also put is why I picked the book to review. For example; so’n’so recommended it, read blurb at…, things like that. So Tamara’s Spirit was the first of Nicole’s books I read and the reason I picked it without reading a blurb or anything is because my son’s girlfriend is Tamara. Now when she first met us she was this timid little thing with low self-esteem. Over the last two years I’ve watched her blossom into the most gorgeous girl (thanks I’m sure to our love) and when I saw Tamara’s Spirit in the database the title just struck me. And look where picking up that one book took me. I’m now here with you ‘lovely ladies’ and having a ball. Imagine if I hadn’t grabbed that book? (shuddering violently)
So I guess we better thank my son for dating Tamara. Nah, he thinks he knows it all as it is, he’d be intolerable if I gave him credit for this.

What a wonderful example of serendipity! If I hadn’t run out of sexy vampire books to read that at least had some sex in them, I’d never have gone on the Internet looking for more authors who wrote similar stories to Laurel K Hamilton. I came up with Ashleigh Raine’s name and found her in my local bookstore and read “hers” first book. Then I went looking for the second book and found myself at Ellora’s Cave because it was only in e-book at that time. I knew nothing about e-books at all!
Through that and reading more EC books, I started wondering if I was really strange or if there were more women like me who liked to read explicit sexy novels, and if there were–what kind of women were they and had they been able to incorporate what they read in to their own lives and did the authors who wrote those books really experience some of those things? So I joined the EC loop and very shortly after that, Nicole Austin walked into the cave. There was something about Nicole Austin, not even published author yet, that just …. intrigued me. She was like a light coming on in my head.
We began chatting and then razzing each other. She had her first book finally ready to come out (Passionate Realities) and I was totally stoked when I read it. She and I kept EC rocking on her first release and had one of the longest List Mom’s days on record at that time.
We decided we were twins separated at birth … yes, I’m the eldest, and who cares if it took about 10 years for her to finally get out of that womb. LOL!
She started sharing her WIP with me and before you know it, was bound and determined that I could and would write.
If I hadn’t run out of reading material and then gone searching for women who were more like me, I’d have never gotten to where I am now …which is a whole hell of a lot better off than when sis and I first met.
OMG! This is just too funny. Check out this 15 second video on YouTube
I HATE when you spend your hard earned money expecting to get what you ordered and the company does not deliver. What’s even worse is when they refuse to make their product right and satisfy reasonable expectations. Do NOT order anything from Print Place unless you want printed materials that are not perfect.
No where on their website does it mention that the plastic bookmarks will be dull and textured on one side while smooth and shiny on the other. Nor do they mention that they have no control over which side will be which. How messed up is it that the front of my bookmarks are dull and the back shiny and smooth. And does that sound like a total load of crap to you, or is it just me thinking they were feeding me a line of b.s.? Their offer, they’d reprint my bookmarks, add free UV coating so both sides were the same, at a 15% discount. WTH? I’m not spending all that money again and taking another chance on them.
Its their product that turned out inferior. If they’d simply put a warning on their website to order the UV coating if you wanted the finish to be the same on both sides, I would have sprung for the extra cost when I ordered. Since they have no warning, I feel they should reprint the bookmarks with the coating. I’m willing to pay for the coating and even shipping, but I’m not willing to pay for the bookmarks again when I can’t use the first batch!
That’s just poor customer service. I won’t order from them again, and I suggest no one else does because if they mess up your order, you will not get satisfaction! *grumble, groan*

Thirteen Things About The Spoiled Under 30 Crowd
A friend sent this to me in an email and I altered it a bit to fit with TT. If you are 30 or older, you will think this is hilarious! If not, send it to your parents. They’ll think it’s funny. Don’t, however, show it to anyone under 30, they will only roll their eyes at you and sigh just like you used to do to your parents. Happy TT!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were when they were growing up, what with walking twenty-five miles to school every morning … Uphill BOTH ways .. Yadda, yadda, yadda… And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on kids about how hard I had it and how easy they’ve got it!
But now that I’m over the ripe old age of thirty, I can’t help but look around and notice the youth of today. You’ve got it so easy! I mean, compared to my childhood, you live in a damn Utopia. And I hate to say it but you kids today you don’t know how good you’ve got it compared to what we had!
1. When I was a kid, we didn’t have the Internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the library and look it up ourselves… In the card catalog. Do you even know what a card catalog is? Didn’t think so!
2. There was no email. *gasp* We had to actually write somebody a letter… With a pen! Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take like a week to get there.
3. There were no MP3’s or Napster! If you wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the record store and shoplift it yourself. Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ would usually talk over the beginning and mess it all up! Of course, that was back when they still played music on the radio instead of just talking all the time.
4. All this instant news and live videos of events unfolding just didn’t happen. You had to stay awake until 11pm to watch the news on TV or wait until the paper got delivered in the morning to find out what was going on.
5. They invented something great called MTV (Music Television) that played music videos 24/7. What happened to the music videos? Now MTV is nothing but reality shows.
6. We didn’t have fancy stuff like call waiting or voice mail. If you were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal and had to call back, that was the only option.
7. And we didn’t have fancy Caller ID Boxes either. When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was. It could be your school, your mom, your boss, a collections agent, you just didn’t know. You had to pick it up and take your chances!
8. When we were on the phone with our friends and our parents walked in, we were stuck to the wall with a cord, a 7-foot cord that ran to the phone – not the phone base, the actual phone. We barely had enough length to sit on the floor and still be able to twirl the phone cord in our fingers. If you suddenly had to go to the bathroom guess what we had to do… Hang up and talk to them later.
9. Cell phones, forget about it. You had to walk until you found a payphone that worked and scrounge up the cash to make a call.
10. We didn’t have any fancy Sony Play Station or X-Box video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics. We had the Atari 2600, baby! With games like Space Invaders and Asteroids, and the graphics were horrible. Your guy was a little square. You actually had to use your imagination! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen forever. And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died.
11. When you went to the movie theater there no such thing as stadium seating. All the seats were the same height. If a tall guy or some old broad with a hat sat in front of you and you couldn’t see, you were just screwed!
12. Some of us had cable television, but back then that was only like 15 channels and there was no onscreen menu. For those of us who didn’t have cable we only had 3 maybe 4 channels and if the president was on it was on the 3 good channels. To find out what was on you had to use a little book called a TV Guide. And there was no Cartoon Network either. You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I’m saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons and wake up early to see them.
13. And we didn’t have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something up, we had to use the stove. If we wanted popcorn, we had to use that stupid JiffyPop thing or a pan with HOT oil and real popcorn kernels and shake it all over the stove forever like an idiot.
*Bonus: For the writers. There were no computers with lovely programs like MS Word that underlined possible errors and checked your spelling. You had to stick a piece of correction tape in there and type over your mistakes. And you couldn’t cut and paste paragraphs with a few keystrokes when you typed on a manual typewriter like the one in the banner above. Editors didn’t tack on electronic comments that could be removed. They got out a red pen and marked up the page, which you now had to retype.
That’s exactly what I’m talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You’re spoiled!! You guys wouldn’t have lasted five minutes back in 1980!
Regards,
The over 30 Crowd

Woot! The wonderful Fed-Ex man brought my new bookmarks today. I LOVE them! They turned out gorgeous. I had them done on this cool flexible plastic that doesnt’ tear. They’re so prettyful! I am having them reprinted though. They put the shiny coating on the back and not on the front. It was supposed to be both sides. Someone messed up, darn it! The background looks funky in this picture but great on the bookmark.

I also got very HAWT business cards. My most talented friend and hussy sista, Ciana Stone, helped with the hussy card. I’m getting those done up as magnets for the RT Convention.

Woot! Laura from Two Lips Reviews showed some love for Enough. Thanks, Laura! A bit of what Laura said is below. To read the whole review click here.
“What woman wouldn’t want one man fulfilling her every desire, much less two? Enough is a captivating story by Nicole Austin with a sexy threesome that will leave you wanting more! Gray uses this special night to show how much he loves Christine. This book is an erotic indulgence that will heat you up and satisfy your every sexual whim.”
